Frequently Asked Questions
RESTORE (Glass Restoration)
Q: What does Restore do?
HydroGuard NZ Restore removes stubborn water stains, mineral buildup, and soap scum from glass and tiles, restoring clarity where standard cleaners fail.
Q: What surfaces can I use Restore on?
Designed for glass and tiles only.
Not suitable for aluminium, painted, plastic, or coated surfaces.
Q: How hard do I need to scrub?
Light staining requires minimal effort. Heavier stains may require more time and pressure or the use of a drill or sander to fully remove.
Q: Do I need a machine?
For light stains, hand application works well.
For older or heavily stained glass (5+ years), a drill or polishing attachment is recommended. If you have a small sander you can cut our non-scratch pad to size.
Q: Will it scratch glass?
No — when used correctly with the supplied non-scratch pads, Restore is safe for glass surfaces.
Q: How long does it take?
Light stains can be removed in minutes.
Heavier buildup may take longer depending on severity.
