HydroGuard NZ – Returns & Refund Policy

Your Rights Under New Zealand Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

If a product is faulty, not fit for purpose, or does not match its description, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund.


Faulty or Damaged Products

If your item arrives damaged or develops a fault, please contact us as soon as possible.

We may:

  • Replace the product
  • Repair the product (if applicable)
  • Provide a full refund

Depending on the situation, we may request photos or return of the item.


Change of Mind Returns

We offer a 14-day return policy for unused items.

To be eligible:

  • Items must be unused and in original condition
  • Packaging must be unopened and intact
  • Proof of purchase is required

⚠️ For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on opened liquid products unless they are faulty.


Non-Returnable Items (Change of Mind)

  • Opened or used products (Restore, Protect, Maintenance Spray)
  • Used accessories (pads, cloths, squeegees)
  • Clearance or sale items

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method
  • Please allow 3–5 business days for processing

Shipping costs are non-refundable unless required under the Consumer Guarantees Act.


Return Shipping

  • For faulty products: we cover return shipping
  • For change of mind: customer covers return shipping

Incorrect Use

Our products must be used according to instructions provided.

The Consumer Guarantees Act does not apply where:

  • Products are used incorrectly
  • Instructions are not followed
  • The product is used on unsuitable surfaces
