HydroGuard NZ – Returns & Refund Policy
Your Rights Under New Zealand Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
If a product is faulty, not fit for purpose, or does not match its description, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund.
Faulty or Damaged Products
If your item arrives damaged or develops a fault, please contact us as soon as possible.
We may:
- Replace the product
- Repair the product (if applicable)
- Provide a full refund
Depending on the situation, we may request photos or return of the item.
Change of Mind Returns
We offer a 14-day return policy for unused items.
To be eligible:
- Items must be unused and in original condition
- Packaging must be unopened and intact
- Proof of purchase is required
⚠️ For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on opened liquid products unless they are faulty.
Non-Returnable Items (Change of Mind)
- Opened or used products (Restore, Protect, Maintenance Spray)
- Used accessories (pads, cloths, squeegees)
- Clearance or sale items
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected:
- Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method
- Please allow 3–5 business days for processing
Shipping costs are non-refundable unless required under the Consumer Guarantees Act.
Return Shipping
- For faulty products: we cover return shipping
- For change of mind: customer covers return shipping
Incorrect Use
Our products must be used according to instructions provided.
The Consumer Guarantees Act does not apply where:
- Products are used incorrectly
- Instructions are not followed
- The product is used on unsuitable surfaces
